"I Have a Dream"

The Aurora Public Library Presented Virginia based Theater IV's Martin Luther King, Jr. play "I Have a Dream." Small audience, small state, but big heart. A captivating hour unfolded the life and times of one of our nation's greatest civil right activists with passion, humor, tears, and joy. 5 cast members played an colorful array of characters including MLK, Rosa Parks, Bull Connor, and more. The Birmingham children's crusade climax hit the heart, as local sherrif Bull Connor screamed at the top of his lungs as high pressure water hoses soaked advancing protesters, with a very wrenching turn of events to end the scene.
