However, the low angle of the sun set behind my subject requires me to use flash, which tends to create an artificial, harsh look that takes away the authetic, golden light cast by the sun. How to keep the subject lit naturally? A : Great lighting is, of course, the path to great portraits! The secret to capturing the same light cast by the sun (which, as you say, is now behind the subject) is to use a reflector panel to cast it back around to the subject! Another great shoot at my favorite place...Ludlow Park in Lawrenceburg, IN. My loving parents were celebrating 30 years of marriage!!! The setting here was amazing. A beautiful lake and the sunshine made this shoot stand out from a lot I have done and I only picked out a few of my favorites to post, there were so many good ones!
